Rules for this event will be based on our Street Stock Rules. We are aware that several race teams are planning on visiting for this event and we encourage you to please look over our rule book to make sure your car is legal before arriving. Our tech officials, Adam & Dion, are the final decision makers when it comes to rules. If they tech your car and ask for you to change something it will need to be fixed before you are allowed to race. If you have any questions about the rules you can call us at the number listed on our website.
We reserve the right to have your tires analyzed by an outside laboratory, however we will also use any and all means available to detect and enforce the rule. If we feel that there is a strong enough (smell) reason to believe your tires have been soaked or altered in anyway. We will disqualify you from the event. There will be absolutely NO TIRE SOAK. The top 5 will all have their tires inspected, which may include duromotered, breaking the tires down or sending samples to an independent laboratory. Other cars may also be inspected if duromoter readings indicate the tire has been altered. Any car who is notified after the race their tires are being teched and fails to go directly to the designated tech area after the race, goes off the racing surface or goes to their pits will be disqualified. ALL CARS WILL HAVE BABY POWDER INSIDE THE TIRES; IF WE BREAK DOWN A TIRE AND IT IS NOT THERE YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
Per our track rules HEI distributors are required. Tech officials may request for you to uncover all wires from your distributor at any time, which includes any wires that go into your ignition switch or are spliced from any power/tach wire. Any wires with plugs that are not plugged into anything will need to be removed with a wire splice that does not allow anything to be connected or disconnected from the drivers seat. Failure to cooperate will result in the car not being allowed to race or disqualified from the event. Tech officials may require cars to take off distributor caps at any time, if anything is found that we can not verify the use of, it will be removed/replaced with a part we can verify. Additional wires going to the distributor that are not required for power or a tachometer, will be removed. Bluetooth & WIFI detection software will be used at all times to record all MAC addresses of all devices on the property. Absolutely no MSD boxes are allowed connected or disconnected in the car. The fact we even have to go to these lengths is ridiculous, you’re either better than the next driver or you’re not!
