SCHEDULE CHANGE for Saturday 06/24/2023
We are honored to announce that, as announced during Saturday’s driver’s meeting, the Front Wheel Drive Nationals will be rescheduled. In honor of RJ, the event will now be known as The Rodney “RJ” Russell Front Wheel Drive Nationals. We are working closely with RJ’s family to determine a new date for the race, and we will share the updated schedule once it is finalized.
Instead of the Front Wheel Drive Nationals this weekend, we will have Weekly Race Night at The Burg, with all 3 standard classes. Template Late Models, Street Stocks, and ABC Front Wheel Drive Burg Stocks.
In order to accommodate the staff and other race teams attending RJ’s service, we have made the decision to open the gates slightly later than usual, at 3:30 pm. Additionally, qualifying will start at 5:00 pm. Our plan is to still start the event at the regular time, 6:45 PM. We thank all of you for your understanding and look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night for Weekly Race Night at The Burg.
