Hoosier Tire Update For Opening Night and The Victory 110

Today Eddie made the trip down to Hoosier to pick up tires for opening night. First the good news, Hoosier came through and we are fully stocked with Hoosier 970s for opening night. He also got a limited number of 790’s. However, any rumors you have heard let us put them to rest, the tire shortage is real and it will affect everyone.  So, on opening night we will be allowing teams to buy 6 tires, however, for those who want to only buy 4 but do not want to risk a flat.  We are going to allow race teams to use a USED F70 as spares during the feature.  You must have a flat and notify a staff member you are using an F70 before reentering the track.

Now onto The Victory where all Template Late Models will be required to buy tires the day of the race.  We will not be running the Hoosier 970 for that race, instead, we will be using the Hoosier 2040 8″ Slick.  There is also a VERY good chance we will be using this tire for The Smitty Memorial for Template Late Models and The Paps Dream Street Stock race.

We are working very hard with Hoosier to navigate this and although we do not prefer mixing up tires or making things difficult.  This was by far the best alternative, with the only other alternative being a major risk of running out of tires and having to cancel shows.

If you have any questions, want a more detailed explanation, or to order tires please contact Eddie Santora via text or phone at (269)350-0324
