Burg Bash Rules

Explanation:  “A.B.C” stands for A Feature, B Feature, C Feature, etc., it simply means we will group cars based on qualifying time and not by their traditional classes.  Every division except the V8 Rear Wheel Drive Open Division will require legal bodies that you run at your current track for the divisions listed.  General rule exception will be made for cars without windshields but all cars with no windshields must have a minimum of 3 bars in front of the driver.

Burg Bash Outlaw Super Late Model Rules

GENERAL RULE EXCEPTIONS: A full Lexan window is require or you must have a minimum of 3 bars in front of the driver if driving with no window or no roof.  Personal racing equipment rules are recommendations however proper safety equipment is required.

    2. Outlaw Super Late Models may not run both the OSLM division and the Burg Bash Open division you must pick one.
  2. TIRES
    1. Tire soak or materials used to soak tires are not allowed on the property.  No tire may durometer under a 50 after any session.
    2. Hoosier D800 – 10″ Wheels
  3. RULES
    1. We will be using the Outlaw Super Late Model Alliance Rules from Springport Mid-Michigan Speedway.  If you are legal at your track you are legal for this show if you race at Springport Mid-Michigan Speedway, Kalamazoo Speedway or South Bend Speedway.  Any other tracks please contact us and we will add your track if legal.

Burg Bash “A.B.C” Rear Wheel Drive Division

  1. GENERAL RULES
    1. Please go over our general rules by following this link.
  2. TIRES
    1. Tire soak or materials used to soak tires are not allowed on the property.  No tire may durometer under a 50 after any session.
    2. Hoosier D800, 800, 790, 970 – NO SLICKS
    3. 8″ Steel Rims
  3. WEIGHT
    1. 2800 lbs.
    2. No left side weight rule.
  4. RULES – These are based off  Springport’s Michigan Cup which is October 9, 10, and 11
    1. Any rear wheel drive template body, modified body or street car body that is legal at your track.  Cars will be grouped into features based on qualifying times.
    2. This class is for all Sportsman, Template Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks, Bombers, Factory Stocks, etc.
    3. If you have an Outlaw Super Late Model look alike body you will need to race the Open Division or the Outlaw Super Late Model Division.  Cars with no roofs will need to register for the Open Division.
    4. The following tracks rules and divisions will be accepted as an example.  If your track, series or class is not listed, please contact us via Facebook or phone and we will look at the rules and add it if needed.

Burg Bash Front Wheel Drive “A.B.C” Division

    2. Hoosier 790/850 or Radial D.O.T. Approved Tire
  3. RULES
    1. If you are legal for any four or six cylinder front wheel drive class then you are legal for The M-40 Burg Bash.
    2. Bodies must be legal, no modification or Outlaw Super Late model look a likes.

Burg Bash V8 Rear Wheel Drive Open Division – These rules are based in part off the South Bend Showdown

    1. Tire soak or materials used to soak tires are not allowed on the property.
    2. Hoosier D800, 800, 970, 790
    3. 8″ Steel Rims
  3. WEIGHT
    1. 2700 lbs
    2. No left side weight rule.
  4. RULES
    1. Rules: V8s (Outlaw Late Models / Super Late Models / Sportsman / Super Stocks / Hobby Stocks / Street Stocks / Bombers / Thunder Cars / Mid AMs / Modifieds / Trucks)
    2. Maximum body width to be 84 Inches
    3. No spoiler or side sail to be taller than top of roof or roll cage
    4. No Roof required (if no roof you must use arm restraints)
    5. Side boards may not interfere with the drivers ability to exit the vehicle.

Burg Bash Mini Stock Division

  1. GENERAL RULES
    1. Please go over our general rules by following this link.
  2. TIRES
    1. Tire soak or materials used to soak tires are not allowed on the property.
    2. Hoosier 790/850 or Radial D.O.T. Approved Tire
  3. RULES
    1. Showdown Rules will be allowed (EDIT: 9/23/2020)
      1. Maximum body width 76 inches
      2. 8 Inch wheels maximum
      3. No spoiler or side sail to be taller than top of roof or roll cage
      4. No Roof is required (if no roof you must use arm restraints)
      5.  2400 pounds before feature
